School Supply List
The following supplies will assist your child with remaining organized and will be needed to enjoy a successful school year. All requested school supplies can be purchased at Target, Walmart or a dollar store.

Our school day begins at 8:45 am. Please have your child at school on time so that they do not miss any instructional time. Students will be held in the fifth grade hallway and teachers will pick them up there.
Attendance
Your child’s progress, both academically and socially, is greatly influenced by your child’s attendance to school on a regular basis as well as punctuality. If for any reason your child will be absent please call the office at 407 845-0665 or send a note to school the following day explaining why your child was absent.
Acceptable Absences Are:
- Student illness
- Medical appointment (this is not an excused absence-it is an excused late arrival or early dismissal)
- Death in family
- Observance of religious holiday
Classroom Behavior
This year Millennia Gardens will be having a school wide behavior plan. Students will use our Walla Color system to track their behavior throughout the school day. All students start their day on green and then move up or down the color chart depending on their behavior.
Purple- Excellent/Perfect Day!
Blue-Great Day!
Green- Ready to Learn/Good Day
Yellow- Caution/Warning
Orange- Reflection Time/Time Out
Red- Parent Contact/Loss of Privileges
If your child is a car rider you must have a Millennia Gardens hang tag in your car. If you do not have this, your child may not be put in the car.
If your child will be leaving early or will not be going home according to their normal routine, a written note must be provided giving clear instructions on how and when the child is going home.
Lunch
Lunch is free for all students. You have the option of sending a packed lunch for your child if you wish.
